First played on The Old Course in 1873, The Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews will host the 150th playing of The Open Championship. This will be the 30th hosting for The Old Course, often referred to as the "Home of Golf". As the largest golfing complex in Europe with a history dating back 600 years,  it is the perfect place to celebrate a 150th.
